MRS. LYDIA GEIB DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS
Mrs. Lydia M Geib, 66, died Monday morning, February 18, in the Fairfax Community Hospital following a short illness.
She had been a lifelong resident of the Craig community until the last three years, when she became a resident of Evans Circle in Mound City.
She was born April 15, 1907, the daughter of Augut and Ellizabeth Heine of Craig. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter\\\'s Lutheran Church near Craig.
On August 12, 1931, she was married to Henry W. Geib. To this union three children were born; Max Alvin Geib, Craig; Maxine Lydia Geib Plummer, Forest City; and Jerry Henry Ernest Geib, Craig.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Geib, in 1958. In additon to her three children, she is survived by a brother, Ernest Heine, of Craig, and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, February 20, at 2 p.m. in St. Peter\\\'s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Theodore Offermann officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Mo.
