 Veteran Cal Rogers, 87, of Rulo, NE, passed away February 1, 2012 at Rulo. He was born February 14, 1924 at Rock Port, MO to the late Melvin and Ella (Howell) Rogers.

He enlisted in the U. S. Army on February 3, 1943 at Ft. Leavenworth, KS. He served during World War II at Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He earned four bronze stars, the Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious SV Unit Plaque, and Distinguished Unit Badge. He was honorably discharged on December 7, 1945.

He married Geraldine Cook and they were later divorced. He then married Lucille Hall in 1968 at Las Vegas, NV.

Mr. Rogers was raised in the Rock Port
