Mrs. A.E. Smith Dies in Hospital-

Mrs. A.E. "Rebecca" Smith, 79, of Oregon died Tuesday evening in a St. Joseph hospital. She had been in poor health since a fall in December.

The Smiths have lived in Oregon for about 15 years, moving here from Craig.

Survivors include her husband, Albert E. "Tuck" Smith, of home; one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Bostwick, St. Joseph; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Schmidt, Falls City, neb.; one half sister, Mrs. Lulu Schruab, San Francisco, Calif.; two half brothers, Coyet Jones, California, and Morris Jones, Rulo, Neb.; one grandchild; five grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Schooler funeral Home in Craig with Rev. Merrill Ferguson officiating.
Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, at Craig.
