86, Mound City, died Monday,
November 22,2004, at his home in Mound City.
Born November 1, 1918, in Craig Missour. He attended
St Peter\\\'s Lutheran Shool in
Craig and was a lifelong
resident of Hoft County.
He seved in the United States Army from 1941 to 1945 during Wrold War II attaining the rank of Tec Sereant, receiving five Bronze Stars, Bronze star medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
On March 23, 1946, he married Dorthy Wright at St Peter\\\'s Lutherans Church in Craig She survives of the home.
Edgar was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Mound City; Lion\\\'s Clubin Graham; and the American Legion Post in Craig.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary (Heinie) Thurnau; brother, Charles Thurnau; and two sisters, Elsie Boltmer and Thelma Thurnau.
(Additional Survivors) two sons and their wives, Bill and Carol of Maitland, and David and Terry of Maryville; three daughters, Ellen O;Coin and her husband, Joe of St. Louis, Gail and her suband , Kim Otte of Springfield, and Barbara Thurnau of Lenexa; five sisters, Elnora Krueger, Emma Write, Dorothy Seymour, Delores Morehouse, and MArilyn Robbins; and seven grandchildren, MAry Ellen O\\\'Coin, Joeseph O\\\'Coin, Justin Thrunau,, Andrea Thurnau, MAtthey Otte, Mellissa Otte, and Tegon Thurnau.
