Cathine Tubbs, 69, Bigelow, MO., died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1994, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Mrs. Tubbs was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Craig, to James and Dollie Golden Barker. A graduate of Mound City High School, she was a life-long resident of the Craig and Bigelow area.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Craig Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and a granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Tubbs, of the home; three sons, Donald and Thomas, Bigelow, and Terry, Craig; four daughters, Diane Jewett, St. Joseph, Deborah Shelley, Las Vegas, Nev., Pamella Tubbs-Brown, Topeka, Kan., and Phillis Tudor, Bigelow; six sisters, Leona Haer and Hazel Rother, both of Craig, Dorothy Carlson, Beaverton, Ore., Addie Walden, Bigelow, Cora Belle Yount, St. Joseph, and Lucille Stull, Mound City; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Craig Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Sharon Lodygowski, Fairfax, and the Rev. Charles Hagee, Mound City, officiated. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery, Craig.
The Schooler Funeral Home, Craig, was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Johnny Haer, Steve Cunningham, Orville Rebel, Terry Edwards, Duane Nauman and Jim Ohlensehlen.
