Mrs. Bessie Brown Services Wednesday-

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 21, at 2 o\\\'clock, at the Schooler Funeral Home, for Mrs. Bessie Story Brown. Rev. Ernest Neilson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiated.

Mrs. Brown passed away at the Fairfax Community hospital on Monday. She, with her husband, came from their home in Oklahoma to Fairfax in March, and she had been a patient in the Fairfax hospital most of the time since.

Bessie Mabel Story was the daughter of the late Louisa and Madison Story. She was born on a farm near Craig, Mo., Oct. 30, 1891, and died June 19, 1961, at the age of 69 years, seven months and 19 days. She became a member of the Craig Christian Church, when fifteen years old, and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Granite, Okla.

She was married to Victor E. Dandy, D.D.S. in 1924 at Horton, Kansas. Dr. Dandy passed away 12 years later. She was married to Mr. Brown of Oklahoma City, Okla., May 1, 1947.

Besse, as she was affectionately known to her many friends was preceded in death by her father, mother, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, who is ill in a rest home; one brother, Ernest Story, Wadsworth, Kansas, and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Waits, Fairfax, and Mrs. Olen (Grace) England, Leavenworth, Kansas; also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Craig.
