George Ransom "Bunny" Browning, 87, Mound City, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, at a St. Joseph hospital.
He was born on the family farm northwest of Mound City Aug. 14, 1908, to Delos and Cora Shultz Browning.
A lifelong resident of Mound City, he graduated from Mound City High School and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a retired farmer.
He married Gertrude Wright Jan. 13, 1932. She survives of the home.
He joined the Summit Christian Church at an early age, and served many years on the New Liberty Cemetery Board, the Holt County Co-op Board and the Little Tarkio Drainage District Board.
Other survivors include a nephew and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, (Thursday, Feb. 1) at Pettijohn
