Passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at her home north of Mound City. She was born in Falls City, NE on September 26, 1944, and graduated from Falls City High School. On August 8, 1981 she married Steve Cunningham in Craig, MO. They made their home in the Craig and Mound City area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Wissman) Lippold; and two brothers, James and John Lippold. Survivors include her husband, Steve, of their Mound City home; children, Mark D. (Phyllis) Faller, Craig, MO, Terri L. (Kurby) Parman, Barnard, MO, and Adrienne B. Cunningham, Fort Collins, CO; sisters, Bernice (Larry) Glenn, Batesville, AR, Rose Mary (Ron) Barnhart, Fort Collins, and Joan (Jerry) Simpson, Rulo, NE; brothers, Kenneth (Cora Lee) Lippold, Brownville, NE, Virgil Lippold, Ogallala, NE, Leon (Luella) Lippold, Clackamas, OR, Harold (Elaine) Lippold, Mankato, KS, Dennis (Lena) Lippold, Dawson, NE, and Daniel Lippold, Falls City; sister-in-law, Gail Cunningham, St. Joseph, MO; three grandchildren, Brooke and Allie Nauman, and Dylon Faller; and one great grandchild, Jaylynn Wilmes. Doris was an avid sports fan, especially following the Missouri Tigers. She enjoyed traveling, interior decorating and serving as hostess for gatherings. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Big Lake Baptist Church.
Services 2pm Friday, October 19, 2012, Christian Fellowship Church, Mound City. Family visitation 6-8pm Thursday, Chamberlain Funeral Home in Mound City. Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, MO. Online condolences may be left at
