Mrs. Minnie Drewes, 71, died Monday, April 9, in a Kansas City hospital after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Craig community.
Born September 12, 1907, near Craig, she was he daughter of Henry and Tina Harms. She was baptized into St. Peter\\'s Lutheran Church, October 6, 1907, and was confirmed May 16, 1921.
On March 12, 1935, she was married to Walter Drewes and ty farmed near Craig.
Her husband died September 7, 1977.
Mrs. Drewes is survived by one son, William Drewes of Bigelow; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Katherine) Thurnau, Kansas City; three brothers, Carl Voltmer, Washington, Ill., Walter Voltmer, and Earl Voltmer, both of Craig; and six grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at St. Peter\\'s Lutheran Church near Craig with the pastor, Donald Jenkins, officiating.
Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig.
