Funeral services for Mrs. Ira M. Yandell were held at the Schooler Chapel, Craig, Mo., Wednesday afternoon, May 8, conducted by Rev. Daniel Westveer. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig.
Pallbearers were: Archie Harper, E.L. Ferguson, Eddie Gerdes, Louis Foster, Junior Worley, John Tauernicht. Mrs. Jimmie Thomson was in charge of music.
Mrs. Yandell died at the Methodist hospital, St. Joseph, Mo., Saturday afternoon, May 4, following a week of hospitalization.
Dora Elizabeth, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Theresa Ellen Taylor Watkins was born June 26, 1891, near Fairfax, Mo. She was a member of the Methodist Church and attended Craig High School. She was employed by the telephone company of Craig for a number of years.
She was married to Ira M. Yandell of Craig, Sept. 8, 1909. They were the parents of two children, da daughter and a son, Mrs. Gilbert (Lucile) Newhall of Long Beach, Calif., and Darrell E. Yandell of Snyder, Texas.
Survivors are her husband of the home at Craig; and the son and daughter; three sisters, Mrs. O.J. Watkins, Craig; Mrs. Thomas B. Carter, Chappell, Neb., and Mrs. Mildred I. Shaffer of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother, H.O. Watkins, Tarkio; and several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
