Glen Rother, 88, of Mound City, Mo., formerly of Craig, Mo., died Oct 28, 2006, at his residence.
He was born March 29, 1937, in Graham, Mo., the son of Ed and Hazel Barker Rother.
He graduated from Craig High School.
He married Ruth Ann Price on June 24, 1967. She survives of the home.
He served in the U.S. Army as an engineer at West Point during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Glen was a retired farmer. He had also lived in Graham, Mo., and St. James, Mo, but farmed most of his life north of Craig and worked at Big Lake State Park the past 10 years. He was a member of the St. Peter\\\\'s Lutheran Church, Craig.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1962, and an infant sister, Betty Joanne.
Survivors include: his wife, Ruth, of the home, mother Hazel Rother, Mound City; daughters, Tonya Rother, Gladstone, Mo., and Rose Ewing, Tulsa, Okla.; brothers, Paul Rother, Craig, and Robert Rother, Mound City; siser, Linda Kemerling, Fairfax, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Nov 1 at the St. Peter\\\\'s Lutheran Church, Craig, Mo.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Mo. Military Rites were conducted by Story-Hardin Post 164, American Legion, Craig.
