Thomas Ordos Singleton, 82, Falls City, Nebr., formerly of Craig, Mo., died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at Community Medical Center, Falls City.
Mr. Singleton was born in Ava, June 27, 1917, to Thomas and Melvira Wallace Singleton. He attended rural Atchison and Holt county schools. He moved with his family to Craig when was 8.
On April 25, 1942, he married Marie Flake. She survives, of the home.
After farming north of Craig for 56 years, he and his wife moved to Falls City in 1998.
He was a member of the Craig Presbyterian Church and served on the church board.
he was preceded in death by a , Jean; three sisters, Maude H Hester Dugan and Velma Phillips; and two brothers, Orville and Lowell.
Other survivors include three daughters, Linda Crist of Dubuque, Iowa,, Joyce Page of Prairie Village, Kan., Wanda Matthes of Falls City; a brother, Doyle Singleton of West Hills, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Craig Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Katherine Bates officiated.
Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Craig, Mo.
