Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Cies were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o\\\'clock in the I.O.O.f. Cemetery near Craig, with Rev. Ralph Hand in charge.
Mrs. Cies, 74, died Wednesday, May 27, in the Cox Medical Center in Springfield after an illness of several months.
A native of Leavenworth, Kan., she and her husband, Robert lived in Craig for a number of years. They then moved to Kansas City. When Mr. Cies retired, they moved to Aurora, where they still made their home at the time of her death.
She was a member of the Aurora Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by a five year old daughter, Ruth Ann, in 1937, her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, of the home in aurora, and three sisters, Buretta Keirns, Bonner Springs, Kan., Ann Atchison, Texarkana, Texas, and Mary Limpus, Gravois Mills, Mo.
Services were held Friday, May 29, in the Crafton-Cantrell Chapel in Aurora and graveside services were held Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig.
