Fern (Neely) Dankers, 97, Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Craig and Maryville, Mo., passed away Jan. 22, 2001, at a health-care center in Rogers.
Mrs. Dankers was a housekeeping supervisor at the University of Missouri at Columbia, for 16 years.
Born in Craig on June 8, 1903, she moved from Maryville to Rogers in 1995.
Mrs. Dankers was a graduate of the Craig High School and a member of the First Christian Church at Maryville.
On June 15, 1922, she married Evan Dankers in St. Joseph. He died in 1946.
Mrs. Dankers also was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Bessie Neely; two brothers, Keith and Glen Neely; and a sister, Lilith Hiskey.
Survivings: a son, Samuel, Rogers; a sister, Hazel McPike, Bella Vista, Ark.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service and Burial: Jan. 26, 2001, at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Craig, Mo.
