William Warren died April 3, 1906, at Craig, Mo. He was born in Kentucky on Aug. 28, 1853 and moved with his parents to Illinois as a boy. In 1874 he married Miss Mary Reider, of Illinois. They moved from Illinois in 1876 to Holt County, Mo., near Craig. He leaves his wife, two children-William and Mrs. Cora Quimby, one brother, and three sisters.

From the Craig Mirror-April 12, 1906:
"Died, at his home in Craig, Tuesday, April 8, 1906, William Warren aged 52 years, seven months and five days, after a lingering illness of many months with consumption.
Wm. Warren came from a good family whose ancestors figured conspicuously in the early history of our country. He was born in Kentucky , August 28, 1853. When quite a young lad his parents moved to Moultrie county, Illinois. Here he grew to manhood.
On December 17, 1874, he was married to Miss Mary Reider, of the same county. In 1876, the young couple moved to Audrain county, Missouri, where they lived until their removal to the Craig vicinity in 1879. Over four years ago his health began to decline, until he became so poor in health that he was compelled to give up all labor.
Two years ago this summer he went to Kansas and Nebraska and spent several months, he became a little better, but his wife\\'s health was not so good out there, and after coming back to Craig they decided to go to their old home in Illinois, where they spent five months. They returned to Craig and for the past year his life ebbed fast away.
He was a good honest man, well liked, bore a grudge against no one, and the writer here of who has known him for more than twenty-five years, knows that the world was better for his living. He was a member of the Christian Church for twelve and had been an Odd Fellow.
He leaves a wife, two children; Mrs. Cora Quimby and Wm. Warren Jr., and three living grandchildren beside two sisters; Mrs. T.W. Stovall, north of Craig and one residing at Decatur, Illinois; one half-sister, and two half-brothers in Illinois.
The funeral services were conducted at two o\\'clock on Friday, April 6, 1906, from the Christian Church by Rev. Ball and burial was in Guilliams cemetery, north of town."
