Services were conducted at 2 o\\'clock Saturday afternoon, August 4, in the Craig Christian Church for Mrs. Lula E. Walker, 67, who died Wednesday, August 1, at her home in Craig. The Rev. Merrill Ferguson officiated. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Mo.

Mrs. Walker, better known as "Casey" was born January 10, 1912, on a farm near Craig, a daughter of George and Fanny Quimby. When she was a young girl her parents moved to Nodaway, and she joined the Christian Church there.

In 1955 she was married to Emery Walker who died in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ethel and Iva, and two sons, Clarence "Curly" Hand in 1958, and Earl in infancy.

She was the mother of four children: Earleen, Clarence, and twins, Earl and Pearl.

When she was younger and in good health she did nursing in the Craig and Mound City communities.

She is survived by two daughters, Earleen Haer of Kansas City and Pearl Field, Riverside, Conn.; three sisters, Mariam Rothwell and Jessie McClurg, St. Joseph, and Beulah Schupp, Cupertino, Calif.; four grandchildren, Dara White, of Aurora, Mo., Michael Haer, Kansas City, Rhonda and Richard Field and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for the service were Floyd Quimby, Ceaf Rogers, John Hubbard, Bert Hubbard, George Baur and Ray Guardado.
