Erma Lillian Heits, Mound City, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, October 13, at the Tiffany Heights Nursing Home in Mound City.
She was born on November 15, 1913 to Albert and Bertha Thurnau in Craig, Missouri.
On June 19, 1938 she was united in marriage to Earl L. Heits. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Erma lived her entire life in the Craig area. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Irvin and Harold Thurnau; sister, Mildred Lovelady; and grandson, Jeffery White.
Survivors include: daughters, Earlene Scott (Gary), LaGrange, Ohio; Trula White (Doug), Mound City, Marita Stevens (James), Tarkio, Missouri; grandchildren, Jason White, Tiffany Lewis, Tracey Stasick, Lesley Gullion, Shanna Ryser and Justin Stevens; six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Mound City, Missouri. Internment at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Missouri. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Mound City, Missouri.
