"Married, at noon, on Tuesday, January 12, 1904, by Rev. A.C. Riffe of the M.E. Church, Mr. John Horn to Miss Zua Butler. Only near relatives were present to witness the ceremony. The young couple left on the noon train for a short bridal trip to the relatives of the groom at Emporia and other points in Kansas. After a few days they will return to Craig, their future abiding point.
Both the contracting parties are known to our citizens as moral, upright, Christian young people, workers in the M.E. Church, Sunday School and League. The groom is one of the gentlemanly clerks employed in Chas. McClandish\\\'s Racket and the bride is the youngest child and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Butler, our esteemed citizens. The LEADER wishes John and Zua a long pleasant married life. Many friends were at the depot to bid them God speed on their honeymoon trip."
