Private services were held Friday, July 13, for Mildred Evelyn Carlton, 84, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, at Craig, Mo.

Mrs. Carlton, of Albuquerque, N.M., was a former Craig resident who died May 1.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert on Oct. 13, 1999.

The couple lived in Detroit for many years, then moved to Craig in 1972 (where he was born and raised), and to Albuquerque in 1987. She worked as a bookkeeper for businesses operated by H.J. Nauman, and Hugh and Nancy Nauman of Mound City.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Joanne Massie of Albuquerque, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
