Graveside services and burial were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2003, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Craig, Missouri, for Helen U. Cook, Craig. Rev. Jim Brown officiated. Services were under the direction of Schooler Funeral Home, Craig, Mo.

Helen U. Cook, 91, passed away Monday, February 24, 2003, at Community Hospital, Fairfax, Mo. Mrs. Cook had been a school teacher her entire adult life until retiring in the late 1970\\\'s. Born on January 12, 1912, she lived her life in Craig and was the daughter of Ralph C. and Una V. McDaniel. Mrs. Cook was a member of the Nazarene Church of Craig.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cook; brother, Thomas McDaniel; and a sister, Viola Mae Rogers.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Offenbacker; a granddaughter, RoxAnn Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Clarissa Murphy and Caleb Dunn; a great-great grandchild, Trevor Ingle; a sister, Mrs. Frank Bowness; a grandson-in-law, Ronald Dunn; two step great-great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Murphy and Braydon Murphy; and a great-grandson-in-law, Joseph Murphy.
