Mrs. B. Uldene Doeggeling, 93, Mound City, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at the Fairfax, Mo. hospital.
Born Oct. 5, 1909, on a farm near Corning, Mo., she attended school in Corning.
In 1927, she married Earl Doebbeling. He preceded her in death.
Uldene and her husband moved to Southern California in 1941. For the 12 years preceding their retirement, they worked as assistant managers for Lawrence Welk at his mobile home park in Escondido, Calif. Upon retirement, they returned to Holt County, Mo., in 1975.
Mrs. Doebbeling was a member of St. Peter\\\'s Lutheran Church, near Craig, Mo.; and the Lake Shore Club.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Stella (Wilson) Thieman; daughter, Betty; two sisters, Mayme Steele and Lucille Swan; and two brothers, Kenneth and Fred Thieman.
Survivors: her daughter, Lois, and her husband, Lew Wickens, Mound City; two step-grandchildren, Cal and Bru Wickens; four step great-grandchildren; two nieces, Helen Taggert of Jefferson City, Mo., and Marge Henningsen of Nebraska; and two nephews, Roy Doebbeling of New Jersey and Edward M. Doebbeling of Colorado.
