Ernest R. Heine, 82, Mound City, formerly of Craig, Mo., died Tuesday, Nov. 4 1997, at a health-care center in Mound City.
Born Aug. 5, 1915, in Craig, to August and Elizabeth Heine, he was a retired farmer.
Mr. Heine attended rural schools in the Mound City area. He was a member of St. Peter\\\'s Lutheran Church, Craig.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers; and one sister, Lydia Geib.
Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Mound City; two sons, Evon Heine of Fort Atkinson, Wis., and Larry Heine; one daughter, Delores Heine of Idaho; two step-daughters, Carolyn Theas of Skidmore, and Virginia Blum of Tarkio, MO., one grandchild; 10 step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Christian Church, Craig, Mo.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Mo.
