Mary Fisher JacksonBorn Jun. 1, 1845
Died Aug. 20, 1935 in Mound City, MO
Mary Fisher Jackson, daughter of Anthony and Delilah Fisher was born in Ohio, June 1, 1845, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sarah Shields, August 20, 1935 at the advanced age of 90 years, 2 months, and 20 days.
She was united in marriage to John Jackson in 1972 and to this union one child was born, Mrs. Sarah Shields, in whose home, as above mentioned, she was living at the time of her death.
Early in childhood, Mrs. Jackson had yielded her life to Christ and was at that time received into the German Methodist Church. Her church membership was never changed. She was a child of the Heavenly Father and she has gone to the Christian\\'s reward.
In the death of Mrs. Jackson, one of the county\\'s oldest citizens is removed. Although deceased was the eldest in a family of 7 children, she was the last to meet death. With the daughter, who is the only surviving relative, we bow in the solemnities of his hour.
The funeral service was held at the Mound City Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 1935, conducted by Rev. C.S. Young.
Interment was made in the Craig cemetery.
