World War IIHenry W. Krueger, 85, Craig, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at Community Hospital, Fairfax, Mo.
Mr. Krueger was born in Mosinee, Wisc., Feb. 15, 1915, to Walter and Cecila Bearres Krueger. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisc., where he graduated from high school.
On April 20, 1947, he married Elnora Thurnau at St. Peter\\\\'s Lutheran Church, Craig. She survives of the home.
They lived in Janesville, Wisc., until 1981, when they moved to Craig. he worked for Central Vending Co..
He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of St. peter\\\\'s Lutheran Church in Craig, where he was an elder and was on the board of finance. He also was a member of the Lutheran Laymen\\\\'s League.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Krueger.
Other survivors include a son, Jim of Mound City; a daughter, Martha Streuter of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Pauline Marohn of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at St. Peter\\\\'s Lutheran Church, Craig. The Rev. J.N. Sellmeyer, and the Rev. Don W. Craig officiated.
Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Craig.
The Schooler Funeral Home, Craig, was in charge of arrangements.
