Cora Mears-Lemar died in St. Joseph, May 18, aged 44 years. She was born in Ohio, May 24, 1873, and became the wife of James R. Lemar, Feb. 7, 1900.

In 1904, the family came to Holt county, locating on a farm south of Craig.

She is survived by her husband, and nine sons, her parents, three brothers, and a sister.

The funeral was conducted from the Craig Presbyterian Church, May 20, by the pastor, Rev. L.P. Parker, the interment being in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
