Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Maresh were held Wednesday afternoon April 15, at the Craig Christian Church with the Rev. Alva Trowbridge officiating.

Miss Vinta Anderson, organist, accompanied Mrs. General Randall, Mrs. Orrie Schaeffer and Mrs. Mildred Walkup, as they sang "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset."

Pallbearers were Robert Rosenquist, Leslie Erlewine, Richard Rosenqist, Elmer Root, Floyd Ray Quimby and Frank Martin.

Stella Mae Quimby was born Jan. 14, 1888 at Craig, daughter of Benjamin and Martha Quimby. She was the youngest of three daughters and three sons. One son having died in infancy. She was reared in Craig and educated in the Craig schools. She was baptized in the Craig Christian Church.

On March 17, 1907, she was married to Charles J. Maresh at St. Louis. Two daughters were born to them. Leona, now Mrs. Arthur Rosenquist of Omaha, Neb., and Martha, Mrs. George Connell of Orange, Calif.

The family moved to Omaha in 1915. In 1947 she moved with the Connell family to California, where she resided until her death.

She died Thursday, April 9, at Calif. Services were held there April 13, and memorial services were held there as this service in Craig was held.

Besides the two daughters, survivors include a brother, W. Frank Quimby of Oro Grande, Calif.; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
