Mrs. Emma McKee, wife of our fellow townsman, H.P. McKee, died at her home in Craig, April 22, 1905. She was born near Craig, Mo., on August 25, 1878, and left this world at the age of 26 years, 7 months old, and 27 days. The deceased leaves behind a husband, to mourn the loss of a faithful and loving wife; a father, mother, brother, and sister who will miss the presence of a true girl and mother; a boy about the age of five and an infant child who have lost more than words can portray. It breaks up a home that was the joy of husband, children and friends, and separates all from that circle.
Their only consolation is the hope of a reunion in future life.
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church by Rev. West, and the remains were laid at rest in the New Liberty Cemetery. A Large number of relatives from a distance were in attendance at the last sad rites.
