Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at St. John\\\'s Lutheran Church in Corning for Mrs. Charlotte Victorine Neely, 65, who died Sunday night, Sept. 7, in the Fairfax Community Hospital. The Rev. Donald Jenkins officiated. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mrs. Neely, the daughter of Victor E. Walter and Mabel Schultz Walter, was born Oct. 25, 1914, in Corning, attended the Corning School, and graduated with the class of 1932. With the exception of a few years, she spent all of her life in the Corning community. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in infancy and was confirmed in St. John\\\'s Lutheran Church in 1938.
On Dec. 16, 1933, she was united in marriage to Keith Neely.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her husband, Keith; one brother, Norman Walter of St. Joseph; and nieces and nephews.
Steven, Michael, and Mack Walter, Wesley Christian, J.C. Heits, and Lee Peters served as pallbearers for the service.
Mrs. Mike Jenkins was organist for the congregational singing.
