Clarence "Tanky" Robbins, 85, Oregon, Mo., formerly of Craig, Mo., died Tuesday, March24, 1998, at a health-care center in Oregon.
Born on March 12, 1912, in rural Holt County, he was raised there and was a resident of the Craig area most of his life. He graduated from Craig High School, and farmed in the area. He was a member of St. peters Lutheran Church in Craig.
He married Valera A. Heits on July 18, 1933. They moved to Oregon in 1996, where she survives.
Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his parents, Guy T. and Sylvia; a brother, Wilbur; and a sister, Maudie Walker.
Additional survivors; two sons, Gailen and Gordon, both of Craig; a daughter, Beverly Miller, Mound City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services; 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. Peters Lutheran Church, Craig, Mo.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Craig, Mo.
