Thomas A. Ward Jr., 81, Craig, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1989, at a hospital in Fairfax, Mo.
Mr. Ward was born in Craig, and had attended the University of Oregon at Eugene.
He was a pilot for Braniff and TWA before his retirement. Mr. Ward Later served as bank president at the Bank of Craig for several years. During World War II, he was a captain for the Air Transport Commercial.
Mr. Ward was a 50 year member of the Craig Masonic Lodge; a member of the Shrine Lodge of St. Joseph; Craig School Board; Craig Kiwanis Club; Braniff Silver Eagles; the retirement association for TWA, and the Craig Presbyterian Church.
On Jan. 8, 1935, at Tucson, Ariz., he married the former Margaret Bibolet. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors: two sons, Thomas A. III of Overland Park, Kan., and Steven A. of Lompoc, Calif.; a daughter, Marcia Wolff of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Craig Presbyterian Church, Craig, Mo.
