CRAIG MAN DIES TODAY AT ST. JOSEPH-

Frank L. Wright, Craig, passed away at the Missouri Methodist Hospital this afternoon. He had been a patient there for several days for surgery, and had been home a few days, and returned to the hospital.

Frank Leslie Wright, son of Calathial and Amanda Neely Wright, was born Nov. 21, 1884, one mile east of Craig. He died at the Missouri Methodist Hospital in St. Joseph, Mo., Sept. 3, 1959, at the age of 74 years, 9 months, and 12 days. His early life was spent on a farm near Craig. For 35 years he was rural mail carrier, retiring in 1943. Two months ago, he was awarded his 50 year service pin.

He was married to Miss Lulu M. Pebley, Dec. 29, 1906. To this union seven children were born.

Besides his wife, his is survived by four sons, Thomas, of Valley, Neb.; David, Craig; Wilbur, Denver, Colo.; and Wayne, Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Horne, Superior, Mrs. Edgar Thurnau, Maitland, Mo.; and Mrs. James Keeling, Denver, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven nephews, six nieces, many other relatives and a host of friends.
He also leaves four brothers, E.E. Wright and Carl Wright, Mound City, Harvey, of Oregon, and Reid, of Craig.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 o\\'clock, Sunday afternoon, Sept. 6 at the Craig Christian Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. John Charlet. Miss Vinta Anderson was in charge of the music and accompanied Mrs. Tommy Dougherty and Mrs. Bill Burnsides who sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and " Sunrise Tomorrow."

Pallbearers were: Lewis Lawrence, Archie Harper, Hobart Lawrence, Ralph Kinder, Jim McGinnis and T.W. Strickler.
Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery, near Craig.
