Claude W. Yandell was found dead under his tractor on his farm near Craig Tuesday night. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, Feb. 13, in the Schooler Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Remmenga, officiating.

Beth Snider, pianist, accompanied by Becky Snider, as she sang "Take My Hand Precious Lord." Pallbearers were: Ray Allen, E.L. Ferguson, Everette Wright, J.E. Kerns, William Livengood and Wallace Hanks.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, near Craig.

Claude William Yandell, son of Charles and Ida Yandell, was born south of Craig Oct. 13, 1892, and died at his home Feb. 10, at the age of 77 years and 3 months.

His entire life was spent in and around Craig. In 1911 he married Opal Carlton. To this union one daughter was born.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Byron Fitzgerald (Aliene), two grandsons, Bill Fitzgerald of Craig, and Leslie Fitzgerald in Vietnam; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Ira Yandell and Omer Yandell of Savannah, Mo.
