Franklin Jardine Pebley, 69, Craig, Mo., died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at a St. Joseph hospital.

Mr. Pebley was born in Craig July 30, 1930, to Frank and Alta Pebley. He graduated from Craig High School in 1948, and from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Mo.

He also had lived in Springfield, St. Louis, Kansas City, Colorado Springs, and Golden, Colo., and Lubbock, Texas.

On Jan. 23, 1955, he married Nancy Snidow. She survives, of the home.

He was a control branch manager for GMAC Auto Finance Co.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the Mound City United Methodist Church, and Story-Hardin American Legion Post No. 164, Craig.

Other survivors include a daughter, Katherine O\\\\\'Neal of Colorado Springs; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, July 17, 2000, at the Mound City United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kathleen Schmidtke officiated.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Craig.

The Schooler Funeral Home, Craig, was in charge of arrangements.
