Funeral Services for Roy Haer Thursday-

Funeral services for Roy Haer were held at the Craig Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon, May 5. W.O. Yates officiated at the service. . Mrs. W.W. Strickler, organist, accompanied Mrs. Don Wennihan as she sang, "Asleep in Jesus" and "Abide With Me."

Pallbearers were Alfred Ideker, Welton Haer, Emmett Haer, Arch White, Woodrow Yount and Kenneth Haer.

Roy Haer was born April 7, 1904, at King City, Mo., and died Mary 3, 1966, at his country home near Craig.

At an early age he was taken into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Haer. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Peter\\\\'s Lutheran Church.

He was married to Leona Barker, Oct. 5, 1929. To this union five children were born: James, Ramona, Madonna, Vernon and Vickie. Vernon preceded him in death March 19, 1942.

He is survived by his wife Leona, and daughter, Vickie, of the home; James Haer, Mound City; Mrs. Ralph Ideker, Craig; Mrs. Madonna Woodward, Kansas City; and six grandchildren.

Interment was in IOOF Cemetery, near Craig.
